MTC drop off

 The girls went to school for a few periods. Tyler stayed home and finished packing up all his stuff.  We drove to Orem to eat at TruReligion.  Tyler would have enjoyed it more if he wasn't going to the MTC right after.  We stopped at a park and played Lava Monster one last time as a family.  We pulled into the MTC and had time for a few pictures in the shade, then hugged goodbye.  It was a quiet drive back to Draper.  Coming home, they all went to Tyler's room to lay on his bed and fell asleep.

  Week 20: 1/07/2025 Reading the heading of this email is weird. I can't believe it's been 20 weeks of missionary life. Also, what an epic week it's been! I love being a missionary. I often think, what is my life? This is so cool.  We had two District Councils this week which was awesome. We had a crazy miracle on the way to the train. Our bus was 18 minutes late and we were going to miss our train (which is one of the worst things that can happen to you as a missionary because you have to pay for a new ticket with personal funds) but we got to the train station and our train was delayed four minutes even though on the app it said our train was on time. Which was just enough time for us to get there. We were so lucky! I love the other missionaries I serve with. They are huge inspirations to me!  Elder Goodrich got “Carcazonne, Big Box” and "Terraforming Mars”  which has been super fun to play. He has a lot of games. If anyone knows any good strategy for those games...

Week 27: Oats and Rice Cakes

  Change is so Good.  I love being a missionary. It makes me happy. So many new fun things happened this week.  Packed up about a million barbies.  Rode a lot of very small elevators And saw some very cool, very pretty places.  Spiritual Thought:    God is love.  I think I took that for granted before my mission.  Back when I was with my family , surrounded by my friends , in my comfortable home . I never had to rely so much on God's love.  But now, even without all those things I still feel love.  God’s love.   Serving as Christ would has helped me know the love he has for others.  And the love he has for me .  And for you . He that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him , and will manifest myself to him.   (John 14:21)  Serving others every day has drawn me closer to my Heavenly Father.  Through love .  It has made me realize how many ways I can feel and receive love.  B...
